Weight Loss Journal

It is important to keep track your weight loss journey!  Studies have shown that those who take the time to keep track of their daily losses, food and calorie intake, water intake,  measurements, etc, more than DOUBLES your weight loss.

EZ to Be Thin recommends doing this the "old fashioned" way with a notebook. (available for purchase in our store). It is much easier to review your progress this way.  However there are several online sites that do provide this service if you are so inclined to use them.

Virtual Inspiration

Water, Water, Water!

For weight loss, it is essential to drink half your weight in oz of water. It you have even one glass less than your daily allotment, it will show up on the scale. For every 16 ozs less than your body needs, it will hold up to half a pound. For every glass of wine, add 4 to 6 ozs (roughly the equivalent of what you are consuming in alcohol. Try to drink your water before 7:30 pm to avoid having it show up the next day on the scale. (Ex: 200lbs = 100ozs , 1 gallon [US] = 128 ounce [US, liquid] )

Late Night Snacking

Do you find yourself having those late night cravings when you just feel the need to eat?  STOP before you reach for even that healthy snack, listen to your body. It is trying to tell you it is time to go to bed!  Tuck yourself in bed and plan for at least 7 hours of sleep a night. Your body needs ample time to rest and rejuvenate.  Getting enough sleep will aid you in your weight loss journey.

Exercise During Phase 2

Strenuous exercise is not recommended during Phase 2 of the HCG Alternative Protocol.  If you feel the need, you may do walking or yoga.  Once you transition into Phase 3 you can begin a more involved exercise program.

Hitting a Plateau (Stall)

We all face stalls during our weight loss journey. There are several ways to help you get past this.  These methods should only be tried if you have stalled (remained the same weight for 4 consecutive days)

1. "Apple Day"

An apple-day begins at lunch and continues until just before lunch of the following day. The patients are given six large apples and are told to eat one whenever they feel the desire though six apples is the maximum allowed. During an apple-day no other food or liquids except plain water are allowed and of water they may only drink just enough to quench an uncomfortable thirst if eating an apple still leaves them thirsty. Most patients feel no need for water and are quite happy with their six apples. Needless to say, an apple-day may never be given on the day on which there is no injection. The apple-day produces a gratifying loss of weight on the following day, chiefly due to the elimination of water. This water is not regained when the patients resume their normal 500-Calorie diet at lunch, and on the following days they continue to lose weight satisfactorily.

2. "Steak Day"
Eat nothing during the day. Drink plenty of water.
Evening meal --- eat as much as you comfortably can of a large, lean-cut of steak, with nothing else (you can use salt). A couple of hours later in the evening, you may eat either one medium-sized apple or one tomato.
The next morning your should see at least a 2lb drop.
3. "Fage Day"

Guidelines vary but you are to eat 24 Ounces  of 0% Fage along with up to 8 ounces of allowed fruit.  Many people suggest using stevia to sweeten it up a bit. Dont forget to drink your daily water allotment.
